How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Providing and Managing the Services. We use your account information, payment information, and platform data to create and manage your account, process your subscription, deliver the features you have subscribed to, and provide customer support. Safety and compliance data you enter is processed to generate the auditing, prediction, reporting, and alerting functions that constitute the Services.

Communication. We use your contact information to respond to inquiries, send transactional communications (account creation, billing receipts, password resets), provide subscription notifications (expiration reminders, feature updates), and send service-related communications that are necessary for the operation of your account. Where you have opted in to marketing communications, we may also send newsletters, product updates, and educational content about industrial safety compliance.

Product Improvement and Development. We use aggregated and de-identified usage data, feedback you provide, and customer support interactions to identify product issues, develop new features, improve existing functionality, and evaluate the effectiveness of the platform's safety and compliance capabilities.

Safety Research and Benchmarking. With appropriate customer consent and data de-identification, we may use aggregated safety program data to develop industry benchmarks, publish research on manufacturing safety trends, and improve the predictive models used in the platform. Individual facility data is never published or disclosed without explicit written consent.

Security and Fraud Prevention. We use log data, usage patterns, and account information to detect and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, and abuse of the Services. We monitor for anomalous activity and may investigate suspicious patterns that suggest security threats or policy violations.

Legal Compliance. We may use or disclose your information as required to comply with applicable laws, respond to legal process, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights and safety of SafeSiteX, our customers, or others.

How We Share Your Information

SafeSiteX does not sell your personal information or your safety and compliance data to third parties. We share information only in the circumstances described below.

We will notify affected customers and provide information about privacy choices in advance of any such transfer where legally required.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose information to government authorities, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

With Your Consent. We may share information for other purposes with your explicit prior consent.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including providing the Services, maintaining your account, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.

For active accounts, we retain account information and safety and compliance data for the duration of the subscription and for a period of five years following account closure to support legal, regulatory, and audit requirements. OSHA 300 log data and related incident records are retained for five years from the date of the entry, consistent with 29 CFR 1904.33 retention requirements that apply to the underlying safety records.
